The Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy’s CS, Mr. Eliud Owalo, held a consultation meeting with Ms. Hanna Hennig, the esteemed Chief Innovation Officer of Siemens AG during the 16th German Digital Summit in Jena, Germany.
Both parties viewed the meeting as extremely fortuitous since it represents a big step in Kenya’s efforts to develop partnerships with top tech leaders in digital innovation excellence within the new global ICT-driven community.
Throughout their conversation, they covered a wide range of topics, including the creation of cutting-edge digital hubs that can act as epicentres for innovation and technological advancement in Kenya and other regions; developments in artificial intelligence (AI), which have revolutionary potential in a number of different sectors of the digital economy; and business process outsourcing in the IT industry, which offers chances to outsource a variety of IT services to boost the country’s economy and create jobs for our young people.
