IEBC Moves Narok Tallying Center To Nairobi

The dispute is between UDA's Patrick Ole Ntutu and Moitalel Ole Kenta supporters.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has moved the Narok County tallying center operations to Nairobi Tallying Center.

In a notice to the station, IEBC cited breach of peace that has made operations to declare the winners impossible to undertake.

“Due to the breach of peace at the county tallying centre, It will be impossible to continue with the declaration of the county governor result at the tallying center.”

Several people have been arrested over the chaos witnessed at Kilgoris.

The dispute is between UDA’s Patrick Ole Ntutu and Moitalel Ole Kenta supporters.

Narok County Commissioner Isaac Masinde urged residents to maintain their composure.
