The ongoing exercise was carried out at Kianjai market along Meru – Maua road.

Road reserves are areas contained within a road’s statutory width, which includes lanes, shoulders, and walkways.

KENHA has constantly urged residents to keep away from road reserves as they pose great danger to those found encroaching.

The agency is also warning truck drivers against parking on road shoulders, in a bid to preserve longevity of road surfaces.

Majority of the accidents, have been attributed to illegal parking of trucks on road shoulders at night, as they pose a risk to oncoming motorists.
