In the previous 24 hours, 2,216 persons have tested positive for Covid-19.
This increases the total number of confirmed positive cases to 304,350.
The positivity rate is presently at 25.6 per cent, with 3,065,623 tests completed to date.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, 1,984 Kenyans and 232 foreigners are among the new cases.
There are 1,124 men and 1,092 women, with the youngest being a two-month-old baby and the oldest being 105 years old.
Three individuals have died as a result of the condition, all of whom were discovered late after conducting facility record audits in January 2022. This brings the total number of fatalities to 5,404.
775 people have recovered from the sickness, with 578 of them coming from the Home-Based Isolation and Care program and 197 from various health facilities across the country.
Total recoveries now total 259,308, with 209,648 coming from the Home-Based Care and Isolation program and 49,660 from various health facilities across the country.
