Kenya To Receive 72,000 Vaccines From South Sudan

This week, Kenya will get 72,000 Covid-19 vaccinations from the Covax facility.

The vaccinations were re-distributed from South Sudan after the country’s health officials stated that the vaccinations could not be used before their expiration date.

Covax sent 132,000 Astra Zeneca pills to South Sudan in late March.

Mayen Machout, the country’s Health Minister, informed media that they were unable to use all of the doses due to delays in getting the vaccine approved by parliament.
