Mombasa-based Kenyan chef Maliha Mohammed, who made history in 2019 by cooking for over 75 hours straight broke another record on Monday morning.
The chef surpassed the Guinness World Record for the longest home kitchen cooking marathon.
The self-taught chef if certified by the Guinness World Record, will be displacing American Rickey Lumpkin of California, who cooked for 68 hours, 30 minutes, 1 second in December 2018.
The Kenyan chef blew past that record on Monday,14 August 2023 clocking 68 hours 30 minutes 02 seconds.
The Chef who Targets a 90 hours cooking marathon has spent the last 3 days showcasing her culinary skills.
All foods prepared will be donated to street kids and orphanage homes.
