The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) announced on Thursday that token creation will be delayed owing to a technical issue.Â
According to KPLC, the issue is affecting prepaid token creation and postpaid bill payments.
The electricity provider, however, stated in a statement that the problem had already been detected and that restoration of normal services was underway.
“Our team has found the problem, and regular service restoration is already underway so that users can access the affected platforms as quickly as possible.” “We apologize for any trouble this has caused,” the statement said in part.
According to consumer feedback, the technical issue with token generation may have begun as recently as last night.
