The Late Hon. Ken Okoth succumbed to Colorectal Cancer, an illness he has battling with for a long time. Many had been supportive of the late Kibera Legislator for his strength and oftenly sent messages of hope to him.

His famous post ‘napambana na hali yangu’ was in response to a Kenyan who sought his health status on Okoth’s Twitter
Last year, Okoth had claimed he would introduce a bill in Parliament to Legalise the growth and use of all forms of Cannabis plant, Marijuana.
Okoth had just returned from France and was welcomed by Kenyans who had rallied behind him, including President Uhuru Kenyatta
