BY FAITH MUTETE – Deputy president’s wife Racheal Ruto and a pastor held an anointing service at the altar built in her residence on Friday morning to anoint McDonald Mariga who is contesting for the Kibra seat under jubilee party.
The former Harambee star player was captured on his knees on pictures shared by Dennis Itumbi.
“We Pray for You, Macdonald Mariga. May God be your shepherd? It has been said before, “Leadership is not about titles, positions or flowcharts. It is about one life influencing another.” Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”,” wrote Mr Itumbi.
The Deputy President has intensified his campaign strategy for the former football star, as Kibra contestants count less than 5 days of wooing voters, ahead of the by-election will be held on November 7.
