KingKaka formally known as Kennedy Ombima has been summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations(DCI) over his latest poetic piece dubbed Wajinganyinyi.
The artist announced an hour ago in twitter that indeed he has been summoned with Kenyans on Twitter vowing to stand by him no matter what.
Several lawyers such as Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi and Nelson Havi have vowed to defend him from whoever sues him saying the song was not defamatory in any way.
This comes just a day after Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru threatened to sue him over defamatory remarks if he doesn’t apologize and pull the song down.
The song highlighted various corruption scandals that have been witnessed in the country and also criticized the government for not doing what is required of them.
