DCI George Kinoti has transferred 337 detectives over efficiency related concerns.
The transfers were effected on Friday 20th August. Their due date is 30th of August 2021.
The officers, from the rank of Senior Sergent have been transferred to other stations countywide.
Kinoti gave the orders to transfer the officers following a surge in police related crimes countrywide.
A circular issued by Mwangi Wanderi on his behalf instructs the affected detectives to report to their new stations immediately.
Transfers of four others has been rescinded.
