Saturday being the big day where Eliud Kipchoge attempts the INEOS 1:59 challenge, Kenya and the world at large are rooting for him, sending him their wishes in the best way they know.
To keep people informed back here at home the cs of the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Heritage Amina Mohammed held a briefing at Kencom building to officially announce that the event will be covered live at KICC for free public viewing.
The Ministry has partnered with KICC, Homeboyz, DSTV and infinite planners to make the streaming available.
The CS also gave her confidence to Kenyans saying that as she met Eliud he is ready for the challenge and that his greatest asset is his mind.
The CS also said that the ministry is doing all it can to ensure that sports and people who are talented in sports get what they need in order to perform their best,such efforts include availability of sports funf by the president,attempts to have sports academies in counties and provision of sports facilities and she encouraged those involved in sports to use the resources provided.
