Police in Nyamache, Kisii County have arrested a middle-aged man who is alleged to have hacked to death his two children aged three and two years.
According to Nyamache OCPD Kipkulei Kipkemboi, who confirmed the Friday morning killing, the suspect killed the two boys and dumped their bodies at a family farm in Kiobegi, Kisii County.
“All I can say for now is that we have sent officers to the scene and will shed more light once we arrive there,” he said.
The mother of the children was said to be at the farm when the man committed the heinous act.
The two minors’ heads had deep cuts, indicating that they had been hacked with a machete.
The motive is still unknown.
