Police in Kisii have launched an investigation into the death of a man who was found in his lover’s house.
Zachariah Nyakiri was discovered at the home of his alleged lover, Isabella Okao, a widow.
Irate locals, baying for blood, pounced on the man in Ebate village, Taracha Location.
“The 50-year-old man was found at the woman’s home. The two are known to be lovers,” a neighbor said.
The body of the deceased has been taken to Kisii Referral Hospital mortuary as investigations continue.
“We are investigating the matter in efforts to bring those behind the killing to book,” police said.
