Kisii County Assembly members’ attempt to fire all Public Service Board officials was thwarted late Tuesday.
This came after the Labour Court in Kisumu overturned their ejection from office.
The ruling by Justice Christine Baari allows the embattled board officials to continue performing their duties until their application is heard and decided.
The petition for judicial review of their dismissal was filed on Tuesday, just hours after the assembly, with the exception of two members, voted unanimously to dismiss the board.
