The body of a man who died after plunging at Likoni channel has been retrieved.
Kenya Ferry Services (KFS) has confirmed Identification documents show his name is Joel Mutinda from Kitui County.
His Saloon car was on the main land side of the Likoni Channel when he drove off the ramps at a high speed in to the ocean at around 4.20AM.
The rescue operation was led by Kenya Navy, Kenya Police and other multi agencies.
The incident comes barely three months after a woman and her daughter died at the channel after their car plunged into the ocean.
