Jurgen Klopp has praised outgoing striker Divock Origi, who is set to leave Anfield this summer.

After his contract with the club expires, the Belgian attacker, has been linked with a free transfer to AC Milan.

The Premier League finale against Wolves on Sunday gives Liverpool fans one more chance to say their goodbyes at Anfield, adding another dimension to what might be a historic day in the club’s history.

Klopp will win his second Premier League title in two years if his team defeats their opponents and Liverpool veteran Steven Gerrard defeats Manchester City.

Origi, who has been dubbed Liverpool’s “greatest finisher” by his boss, has scored some of the club’s most iconic goals, including spectacular scores against Everton, Barcelona, and Tottenham.

“I expect Div to get a special reception or farewell. He is a Liverpool legend. He is one of the most important players I’ve ever had,” Klopp said.

“He was and is a pure joy to work with. It’s not ever yet but he deserves all the good thoughts we can generate somehow for his future. Wherever he will go we will be successful.

“It will be hard. I remember so many things when I think about Div that are incredible. Goals, ups and downs. He is a Liverpool legend no doubt.”
