A number of stolen livestock have been recovered in Tandare valley in Laikipia County.
According to the National Police Service (NPS), the multi-agency security team received a distress call after bandits stole livestock at Lamaiwe Area in Baringo South Sub-County.
The team responded swiftly by pursuing the criminals who were heading towards Korkoron and Tandare Valley.
“A fierce fire exchange occurred upon contact, leading to the recovery of all the animals (25 goats and 16 sheep) which have in turn been handed over to the owner,” the NPS said.
