Leicester City has signed Ryan Bertrand on a two-year contract after the left-back was released by Southampton and became a free agent, the Premier League club announced on Thursday.
Bertrand played for Saints for seven seasons, appearing in 240 games for the club on the south coast.
The 31-year-old, who won the Champions League with Chelsea, has 19 England caps but has not represented his country since 2017.
Leicester, who won the FA Cup last season, kicks off its season with a Community Shield encounter against league champion Manchester City on August 7, followed by a Premier League meeting against Wolverhampton Wanderers a week later.
