Brighton are considering striker options, including Manchester City forward Liam Delap.
The 19-year-old is likely to be available on loan and could be involved in talks as City seeks a £40 million deal for Brighton defender Marc Cucurella.
Delap is currently competing for England in the U19 Euros.
Meanwhile, Brighton are set to sign Ivory Coast winger Simon Adingra, 20, from Danish club Nordsjaelland for around £6 million, subject to a medical.
In 40 games, the 20-year-old has scored 12 goals.
