A light aircraft carrying two people has crashed in Baringo near Sandai resort.
The Sunday morning incident saw the two occupants escape with minor injuries as the aircraft was badly damaged.
Reports indicate that the aircraft was preparing to land at Kampi ya Samaki airstrip before the accident occurred.
The cause of the crash is still unknown.
The authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are trying to identify the passengers of the plane.
According to sources, the passengers who include the pilot sustained minor injuries.
No casualties have been reported so far.
