Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua faces time behind bars for theft, fraud and forceful entry.
His enstraged wife Lillian Nganga wants the police to arrest him for forging her signature and stealing her motor vehicle.
She recounted how Governor Mutua ‘stole’ a vehicle registered to her using a spare key.
“On 8th September 2021, Mr. Mutua accompanied by his police bodyguard, Martin
Nzinghi arrived at my apartment parking lot at Kileleshwa, Nairobi, and without my
knowledge or consent and using a spare key which he had illegally obtained, drove
away my personal motor vehicle KBY 186G – a car which had been fully registered in
my name since 2014.” Lillian is Quoted.
After the incident, Lillian alleged that the car had been sold to another person without her consent.
“Mr. Mutua proceeded to fraudulently transfer the ownership of the car in the logbook into his name, and thereafter sold the vehicle to a 3rd party. I filed a case which is pending in court so I will not comment further on it, except to ask the purchaser to be on notice that I maintain my claim to ownership.”
Ng’an’ga wants the police to charge the Governor…or she will report the matter to the Hague and the ICJ.
She was speaking at the offices of her lawyer, Phillip Murgor to protest continued harassment by the Governor.
