Mad rush for Safaricom shares sets new record at NSE

The demand for Safaricom shares has triggered a new trading record at NSE-as the profit machine pushes activity to new high.

On Thursday, NSE sold shares worth Sh.2.6trillion…the highest turnover since August last year.

It’s an indication that the bourse is on a rally as Kenyans look for avenue to invest their hard earned savings  report an a trading environment full of new challenges and uncertainties.
