A Makueni businessman Dennis Kasyoki died in a road accident after a trailer crashed his four wheel drive car along Mombasa Road in Athi River area.
Another man was injured after their vehicle was involved in a tragic accident along the Nairobi–Mombasa highway in Green Park area Machakos County.
Police Kasyoki was driving a Ford Ranger at the time of the crash.
Kasyoki, fondly known by friends as “Nzou” or “Kimuma,” had built a reputation as a visionary entrepreneur, a generous community supporter, and a pillar of leadership in Mbooni, Makueni County.

His generosity touched countless lives, whether through supporting local initiatives or extending a helping hand to those in need. Messages of grief and disbelief continue to pour in.
He died on the spot after the vehicle was hit by a trailer Monday dawn, police said.
The Mercedes Actros was ferrying a container of used shoes from Mombasa to Congo and headed towards Nairobi when the accident occurred.
Investigators said the Ford Ranger driver overtook the trailer and cut in abruptly, leading to a collision at the rear.
Both vehicles lost control and veered off to the right side of the road, where the container toppled and landed on the Ford Ranger.

Traffic police officers from Athi River visited the scene to document the crash.
Both wrecks remained at the site as efforts to clear them continued. Police said investigations into the fatal accident have been launched.
The victim is among 20 people killed in separate accidents in the country on Sunday and Monday morning.
Police said the victims included seven pedestrians, five riders, five pillion passengers, two passengers and one driver.
At least 19 people were injured in the accidents. They included nine riders, eight pedestrians and a driver.
Along North Airport Road in Nairobi, a rider and his pillion passenger died in an accident, which happened near Coca-Cola offices.
Police said the accident involved three cars and a rider.
A bus and a probox collided and landed on a motorcycle killing the rider and his passenger.
The police moved the bodies to the mortuary after the Sunday accident.
