Malkia Strikers Set To Jet Out To Morocco On Thursday After Securing Visas

Malkia Strikers are set to belatedly jet out this week to Morocco for a FIVB High Performance Training ahead of the Nations Challenger Cup set for France between July 27-30.

The team was supposed to have jetted out mid last month but could nit hit the runaway due to visa hitches.

International Volleyball Federation Board (FIVB) have already secured air tickets to Morocco, France and Cameroon where they are supposed to play in the Africa Nations Championships set to run between August 6-18.

It is after failing to secure the crucial traveling document that, the team kicked off nonresidential training at the Nyayo Stadium Indoor Arena. The final team is expected to be unveiled later in the day.

The team is expected to camp in Morocco for some weeks before leaving for France on July 25 for the championship where the Kenyan girls will be hoping to land a place in the 2024 Volleyball Nations League.

Malkia will battle it out with Colombia, France, Mexico, Sweden, Ukraine and Vietnam.

Meanwhile, leading gaming firm Mozzart Bet is expected to extend a helping financial hand to the team before departure to Morocco.

This will not be the first time the firm is coming to the rescue of the team as ten million shillings was advanced to the team last year ahead of their training camp in Brazil.
