KDF Recruitment drive in Seme Sub-County descended into a pep talk over graft, after a man was caught trying to bribe his way to the military in Diemo Primary School. – By Gerald Gekara.
According to the police, the suspect Dennis Odhiambo is said to have written Ksh.300,000 on the soles of his feet, indicating how much he was willing to bribe.
Seme sub county police boss Hellen Ngetich ordered the arrest of the man’s parents as well as the young man who will be arraigned for corruption.
The excercise that has been clouded with incidences, including a bee attack, in Kwale County, has however registered widespread applications for the position.
The recruitment exercise began on Monday, February 8 and is open to all Kenyans that meet the KDF criteria.
