Police are investigating an incident in which a body of a man was found lying on the roadside in Mlolongo, off Mombasa Road.
The man had an injury in the head and lay in a pool of blood. Police say the victim may have been attacked at the scene.
The body was moved to the mortuary.
In Shauri Moyo, a suspected thug was shot dead in a botched robbery.
The suspect had been in the company of three others and were attacking and robbing locals when an alarm was raised alerting police.
The suspect was found with a homemade gun which had three bullets while his accomplices escaped on foot.
