Police in Turbo, Uasin Gishu have retrieved a head thought to be that of a murdered woman in a love triangle.
The missing head of Sheila Jepkemboi, who was beheaded on the 13th of June 2023 in Kibolo Village was retrieved from Murgor Village, downstream in the Sosian River, with assistance from local divers.
Her lover Eliud Kipchoge believed to be the killer in a suspected love triangle is being held in police cells under Custodial Orders.
The head was taken to the morgue at Kimbilio Funeral Home, where it will be identified and autopsied.
The headless body, which was discovered on June 13, 2023, is still being held at the same hospital morgue after family members refused to hold burial ceremonies until the missing head was found.
