A man identified as Andrew Kimuhli was released by a Kibera court on Sh400, 000 bond. Andrew was accused of touching the genitals of an 8-year-old.
Kimuhli was before principal magistrate Derrick Kuto.
It was said that on February 29, at Mutindwa area in Riruta, Mr. Kimuhli visited the home of the minor to check on the girl’s aunt (house help). He was informed that the house help had left for the market.
He pushed the innocent girl to the sofa and started fondling her genitals. She retaliated and managed to escape to the back of her neighbor’s house.
She reported the matter to her mother upon returning home. The mother took her to the station to record a statement at Riruta police station.
He denied the charges and was released on Sh400, 000 bond with no alternative cash bail.
The case will commence on May 27, 2020.
