The Multi-Agency security team in Marsabit County continues to record great success in accomplishing its objective of restoring security and lasting peace in the area.
On 12th June 2022, the security team received information that armed bandits had attacked herders and stole sixty cows.
Police officers responded promptly and pursued the bandits who escaped towards Marsabit Forest.
All the cows were recovered and escorted to the Police station for further administrative action.
The National Police Service (NPS)thanked the local communities for partnering with the security teams and for volunteering information leading to the successful recovery.
