Mary Wambui Wants Passport To Import Furniture

The applicant, Businesswoman Mary Wambui through her Lawyer Nelson Havi, Certified the Court that the notice of motion is urgent and ought to be heard and determined expeditiously.

The application seeks to have the Court grant Mary Wambui’s travel to Turkey, further her passport No. CK31175 be released to enable her travel and the same passport be deposited back to Court upon her return.

On the 9th December, 2021 Milimani Law Courts delivered a ruling granting Mary Wambui bail on five terms.

The second term required Mary Wambui to deposit all her travel documents in Court prior to the signing of her release order after payment of cash bail.

The third term prohibited her from traveling outside the territory of Kenya without prior leave of the Court.

In compliance with the second term, she deposited her Kenyan passport in Court to secure her release.

That notwithstanding, according to the application Mary Wambui is required to travel to Turkey for pre inspection and approval of furniture prototypes in satisfaction of terms of contract for manufacture and supply of hotel furniture’s.

The application further states that the applicant received invitation from Sagist group to visit their factory for the pre inspection and approval of the contract.

She is said to be the principal director of Glee Hotel Limited a party in the contract.

Nevertheless, she will require her passport to enable her travel to Turkey. The said Passport is currently deposited in Court.

The Court will make a determination of the application in an open Court on Wednesday 26th January 2022 at 10:00 AM.
