Suspected Thug Lynched In Matuu

The irate villagers beat up the suspect before setting his body on fire.

A man believed to have been stealing from people in Ngengi, Kivandini, and other villages around Matuu has been killed and his body set ablaze. 

The incident is said to have happened yesterday night. The deceased is said to have broken into a number of homes before being apprehended at approximately 11 p.m.

The body is presently lying at the Yatta B2 ranch next to Kivandini Market, according to a witness. 

Police have urged locals to avoid taking matters into their own hands.
