The MCA, according to the DCI, has been in hiding since the arrest of four suspects and a government vehicle found selling weapons to warring communities.
The DCI who were tipped on the impending sale, ambushed the middle men at the Turbi-Sololo border, and got information that the vehicle, a land cruiser registered to the Marsabit County, had been under his instruction.
He will be in custody for questioning, before being presented to the courts.
“Hon.Konso who had gone into hiding after the arrest of the four, has been handed over to our Anti Terror Police counterparts for further questioning, before being presented in court alongside his co-accused.” DCI Said.
