Meta has rolled out a new ‘Calls’ tab for Messenger app that will help users track their call logs on both Android and iOS.
The tab will be located on the lower bar of the app’s screen, between the Chats and Peoples tabs.
Messenger claims that audio and video calling are growing rapidly, with over 40% more daily callers on the app currently than in early 2020.
Every day, more than 300 million voice and video calls are made using the app around the world.
Messenger claims that the new call button would be a more handy choice because users previously had to create a separate thread to call a friend or family member.
