Michelle Obama to be inducted into the National Women’s Hall of fame

Former first lady Michelle Obama will be inducted into this year’s Women hall of fame. – By Stephanie Mwangi.

Alongside Michelle will be soccer icon Mia Hamm, NASA’s first female engineer Katherine Johnson and PepsiCo’s first female CEO Indra Nooyi.

This year’s edition of the biennial induction ceremony is expected to take place in October 2nd 2021 with all the covid protocols in place, at the National Women’s Hall of fame in Seneca Falls, New York.

The National women’s hall of fame relies on the public to nominate women who have been important in defining American history and they are later then sent to the panel who pick the inductees.

Michelle Obama has become one of the most influential females in the 21st century and has established herself as a strong advocate for women and girls in the US and around the world .she also helped create advocacy groups.

In 2018 she released her first memoir ‘Becoming a book that has sold worldwide, she later launched her own podcast that features deep conversations with friends and family on how relationships shape who we are.
