Mombasa Tourism industry gets boost, Cruise ship docks at Kilindini Harbour

A Luxury cruise ship named MS ALBARTROS docked at Kenya’s largest port, Kilindini Harbour on Sunday, bearing gifts to the vibrant coast tourism industry.

The cruise ship that carried 446 tourists from Germany based travel agency, Phoenix Reisen marks another major milestone for Kenyan coast, as a prime destination for Cruise Ship tourism.

The cruiser which is destined for Seychelles had initially docked at Zanzibar. The tourists got a chance to savour and sample our sumptuous cuisines, visit our magnificent historical sites and pristine beaches and to experience warm charming, and hospitable personality.

The influx in the number of tourists visiting the coast has been attributed to the increase in security measures to curb terrorism and marine waters. Flush out of the Somalian pirates who had been a hindrance, will definitely increase the number of cruise ships docking at the coast of Mombasa.
