The 60-year-old Portuguese coach took over in the Italian capital in the summer of 2021 and impressed during his first two seasons in charge, winning the Europa Conference League in his first year and guiding the club to the Europa League final in his second.
Things have been a little more difficult in Mourinho’s third season and Roma currently sit seventh in the Serie A table after 11 games, picking up 17 points from five wins and two draws. In Europe, the Giallorossi have been perfect, winning all of their opening three games.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport via TMW, Roma have earnt over €70m from ticket sales since Mourinho’s arrival in the Italian capital two years ago.
Whilst not all of this can be attributed to the Portuguese coach, with other factors including the presence of stars Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku, it’s clear that he’s had an important impact on the club’s project.
