Murang’a Backs Peter Kenneth For Deputy President

Former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth is being considered for the position of Deputy President in the upcoming General Elections by a group of elected politicians from Murang’a County.

Kenneth has a track record of progress, according to the leaders, thus he should be granted the role of vice president to the presidential candidate that President Uhuru Kenyatta will support in the 2022 elections.

Mary Waithera (Maragua), Joseph Nduati (Gatanga), Peter Kimari (Mathioya), and Ruth Wangari (Kigumo) are among the MPs who believe it is time for a Murang’a son to aspire to one of the top positions.

Kenneth was praised by Nduati, who said that as Gatanga MP, he initiated numerous development initiatives utilizing the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

The leaders who accompanied Kenneth pledged to continue supporting President Uhuru’s development plan, adding they would follow his instructions regarding the general election next year.

“We wholeheartedly support the President’s development program. Those who argue that the Jubilee administration has done nothing are hypocrites,” according to MP Wangari.
