Nancy Wanjiru, a woman murder suspect in Murang’a County, has been detained by police.
She is accused of killing her husband in cold blood at their home in Kongoini, Murang’a County.
According to reports, the woman who had been arrested and jailed for selling bhang had returned home for two months prior to the 11 p.m. Sunday incident.
According to a police report, the deceased Samuel Waingajo was stabbed multiple times with a knife and died on the spot.
The suspect is currently detained at Murang’a police station while the body of the deceased has been moved to Muranga District Hospital mortuary.
Police have launched investigations into the incident.
