Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi. Is he a political joker or a man possessed by hallucinations?
His political earthquake finally arrives on Sunday Morning.
In the form of the unveiling of a running mate from Central Kenya. Or GEMA. In 2013, he chose Ndaragwa MP Isaiah Kioni as his deputy. But even he did not vote for him.
Political projects are not a new phenomenon in Kenya. President Kenyatta was once one in 2002. For Moi. Kibaki was Raila Odinga’s political vehicle in 2002.
Mudavadi was the deep state project in 2013. Primarily to confuse the Luhia and deny Odinga victory over Uhuru. DP Ruto was the GEMA project in 2013 and 2017. Used damped.
Now Musalia is back. NOT to win the Presidency. But ensure that the deep state agenda is actualized.
Lest you forget. Raila, Ngilu, Wamalwa, Martin Shikuku have variously been used as Moi and state projects.
Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka was a colorful Mwai Kibaki project in 2007. First to waste the Kamba vote. And to act as the shield when ODM, DP Ruto, Mudavadi, Balala and Ngilu ignited the country.
My point. Voters are entertained every five years. The person who succeeds President Kenyatta is known. Through political mathematics.
The only self-preserving tsunami for Mudavadi is to run for Presidency and hope to get political rewards through MPS. Mudavadi will NOT be the President of Kenya in August. Or during Raila’s lifetime.
The Azimio man holds sway in Western Kenya. Where Mudavadi pretends to have a political foundation.
Unless he endorses Kalonzo to boost his stuttering Presidential candidacy, Musalia will be swept away by the Azimio wave.
But politicians are self-centered. They will engage in activities that make no political sense. But the whose only end result is to satisfy their political existence. And for good reasons.
No one has ever sacked himself. And Musalia will certainly not be the first. He will manufacture a situation that ensures that his bills are paid for by the state. And taxpayers.
The same applies for Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula.
