Musila Eats Humble Pie, Rejoins Wiper

As they say, politics has no shame. Or manners.

In 2017, David Musila decamped from Wiper, owned by former VP Kalonzo Musyoka.

In 2019, Musila released his autobiography detailing how selfish Kalonzo was in his quest to rule Kamba land.

According to Musila then, Kalonzo was a selfish person.

In fact, Musila left Kalonzo at his political death, when he needed him most to consolidate his position as Raila’s running mate.

Now Musila is back with Kalonzo. He is politically wiser and hopes to apply the Kalonzo magic to defeat Kaluki Ngilu in the Kitui Governor race.

Their new tired marriage is convenient. No alimony to pay. No new siblings expected, only some old man for Kalonzo presidential bid.

Ukambani is not surprised. Musila is a political gun powder, ever ready to disappoint.

He joined the Independent party to try and wrestle power from Kalonzo chosen candidate Julius Malombe. He failed.

So why would he, at the twilight of his age embrace Kalonzo again? Only a selfish interest of retiring on a high.
