Mwaure’s Sh1 Trillion In Talent And Entertainment Plan

Mwaure stated that he intends to invest a minimum of Sh1 trillion in the talent and creative industries.

The struggling Sports, Talent and Entertainment industry is set to rip big if Agano party’s presidential candidate David Mwaure is elected as the fifth president of Kenya come August 9.

Mwaure stated that he intends to invest a minimum of Sh1 trillion in the talent and creative industries during the launch of his manifesto on Monday afternoon in Nairobi.

This, he claims, will go a long way toward improving the sector and making the youth more productive, as well as broadening Kenyan income, “because excellently performing artists and sports women and men will receive international invitations to perform at high levels,” he adds.

Mwaure believes that when properly engaged, Kenyan youths will contribute to various sectors of the economy.

He was speaking at a time when Kenyan football is on the verge of extinction due to the ongoing tug of war between the Ministry of Sports and FIFA, which has since suspended Kenya from its competitions.

Malkia Strikers, the national volleyball team, almost failed to travel to Brazil for a two-month training before the World Cup competition due to a lack of funds and were rescued last minute with a betting firm, as with Simbas, the rugby 15-a-side team, which has since done the country proud in France when they thrashed stubborn neighbours Uganda 42-8*in their quest to qualify for the rugby world cup, also faced financial difficulties before flying and are the men’s nation’s basketball team Morans, who had the international basketball body FIBA come to their rescue.

Mwaure is the first presidential candidate to state explicitly how much money he plans to invest in sports and entertainment if elected.
