Kisumu County Government Finance department is on the spot after a mysterious fire burnt down its finance offices.
The fire that was reported on the evening of Sunday, February 9 engulfed the office even before the county officers could rescue any document on site.
The inferno occurred on the second floor of Prosperity House where the county government offices are situated.
According tosources close to Uzalendo News, the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) was destroyed.
Documents detailing the Pending bills that the county government owed its contractors have been destroyed.
