A Nanny has begun a five years jail term for feeding her employer a five-month-old baby with a nasal and vaginal swab.
Catherine Mukoya Nalianya was handed down the prison term by a Milimani children’s court magistrate Festus Terer
Terer condemned the house help’s bad behaviour.
She pleaded for leniency stating she has three years baby.
She was found guilty of feeding her employer’s five-month-old baby with nasal mucus fingers and dirt from her private parts.
The maid single mother of a three-year-old baby is accused of inserting her fingers in her private parts and putting them in the baby,s mouth.
Senior residents magistrate Festus Terer said the offence committed by Catherine Mukoya was serious in nature and she deserves the custodial sentence
The court said that the accused person committed the offence in Fedha Estate on 28th July 2022.
In mitigation, she told Court that she was really sorry for the crime and pleaded for a lenient sentence stating that she has a three-year-old child who solely depends on her.
The accused has been in the custody during the trial.
