A Nairobi businessman has been arraigned in Court for allegedly assaulting a police officer.
Alex Muthee Mwangi was arraigned at Milimani law courts where he was accused of assaulting Police Constable Alphayo Baraza.
According to the charges, PC Alphayo was assaulted while controlling traffic along Muindi Mbingu Street in Nairobi
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Lucas Onyina, the accused denied the charges and was released on a cash bail of Ksh 30,000.
