A city car dealer Joseph Kairu Wambui alias Khalif Kairo has been charged in another criminal case just one day after he was re-arrested in court just minutes after attending another criminal charge.
Khalif Kairo who has some other active cases in Court was today charged with cheating contrary to section 315 of the Penal Code.
According to police, Kairo on diverse dates between October 5 and 7, 2024 at Westlands business park in Nairobi, by means of fraudulent tricks obtained Ksh 3,045,000 from Dan Odhiambo Odundo by falsely pretending he was in a position to import him a motor vehicle from Japan.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Susan Shitubi, Kairo denied the charges and the file allocated to a different court for bail and bond determination.
