Police officers lobbed tear gas canisters to disperse hundreds of anti-Finance Bill 2023 protesters.
In a march that began at Jevanjee Gardens, the protesters cut through Nairobi CBD, heading to parliament buildings.
“Down! Down! Finance Bill!” the protesters chanted at the City with placards opposing the contentious bill.
After running battles in Kenya’s capital, police officers also arrested a number of protesters.
