A 19-year-old man has been arraigned before the Milimani Law Courts and charged with possession of narcotic drugs.
Simon Omondi appeared before court facing a charge of being in possession of cannabis sativa contrary to Section 3(1) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Control Act, as read with Section 32(2) of the Act.
The prosecution told the court that on January 10, 2026, at Railway Station Road within Nairobi County, Omondi was found in possession of eighteen rolls of cannabis sativa with an estimated street value of Sh900.
The drugs were allegedly not in any form of medical preparation.
He was arrested on the same day and presented before court on January 12, 2026.
The accused was remanded in custody pending further court directions.
The case is before the Milimani Law Courts.
