Nixon Korir Concedes Defeat In Lang’ata

Langata Member of Parliament Nixon Korir acknowledged defeat after losing his re-election campaign on Wednesday, August 10. 

Korir, who ran on a UDA ticket, informed his constituents that he was grateful to the people of Lang’ata for allowing him to serve them for the past five years. 

He also congratulated ODM candidate Felix Odiwuor, also known as Jalang’o, on his election victory.

“I sincerely thank you for according me an opportunity to be your Member of Parliament for the last 5 years. It’s been a great opportunity that gave me an avenue to contribute to our nation-building and service to the people,” the former aide to Deputy President William Ruto stated. 

Korir stated that from the results he had received that they had tallied at the Generali Centre, his competitor Jalango had an early lead.

“My competitor Jalango has a lead and I want to congratulate him as he prepares to take the mantle and move Langata forward. Siasa si chuki. God bles
