A group of 5 young men armed with crude weapons have been arrested by Police in Mombasa County.
According to a police report seen by Uzalendo News, the five; Mohamed Yusuf (27yrs), armed with a panga, Ali Mohamed Said (21yrs) armed with a sword, Ahmed Awadh Ahmed (21yrs) armed with a panga and a catapult, Awadh Salim (21yrs) armed with a walking stick and Shakir Salim (19yrs) have been detained.
The five, were found holed up in a building after a suspected operation in Nyali.
According to locals who alerted the police of their presence, the five had been linked to various gang attacks on innocent residents living in Kisauni and Nyali areas.
They will be arraigned before a court of law tomorrow.
